Judy practiced OT for 10 years until 2010 in a pre-school and privately with elementary school-aged children in Westchester County.  She has extensive experience evaluating and treating children with a variety of special needs, including sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders and fine and gross motor delays.  She works closely with parents and teachers, listening to their concerns and providing suggestions to maximize children's performance, as well as their comfort and confidence as they engage in the world around them.  In her practice, she uses therapeutic tools incorporating Sensory Integration Therapy, Floortime, Therapeutic Listening, Handwriting Without Tears and The Alert Program, but believes that her most effective tool is the therapeutic use of herself.   She received her BS in OT from the University of Pennsylvania and a masters degree from NYU.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring her new neighborhood....Manhattan.
